What should I do with a damaged saw?
Question
What should I do with a damaged saw?
Answer
With a damaged saw, you should:
Stop using it immediately
Ensure no one else is using it
Bend the segments or the rim with pliers
Throw it in the garbage
A damaged saw might break or lose a segment while you are cutting-off. Therefore, before using an abrasive disc, you should always inspect it carefully for damages (worn out, cracks…). In case it is damaged, you must not use it. In addition, you should make sure that no one else uses it either. You should bend the segments or the rim with pliers to make it totally unusable, and throw it in the garbage.
